Owl Fine Foods, at 1121 Chester Street, was a classic neighborhood grocery store. It offered close-in street parking, plus a small off-street parking lot, providing customers easy-in, easy-out service. Phone: 6962.
The photo below was taken in 2003 when the grocery store had been converted for use as the Heritage Arts and Crafts Center. The ad was in 1957 during the Alexandria Sesqui-Centennial.
