This photo is of the remains of my dad's business (Alexandria Sheet Metal Works) on Lee Street after a tornado hit Alexandria in 1957. As I recall, the tornado traveled straight down Hill Street, from the Chester Street area, until it hit Lee Street, then took a left for a few blocks until disappearing.
