Alexandria has long been the medical center for all of Central Louisiana. Instititions such as the Rapides General Medical Center and Christus St. Frances Cabrini Hospital have a long history of serving the health and medical needs of Alexandria, Pineville and all of CenLA.
Alexandria has long offered worship opportunities for a wide range of faiths at institutions such as St. Francis Xavier Cathedral, First Methodist Church, St. James Episcopal Church, Emmanuel Baptist Church and many others.
