Alexandria Louisiana Homes, Houses and Parks

Alexandria experienced tremendous growth in real estate during the 20th century, with a variety of new homes and houses built in new subdivisions along with apartment complexes.

City Park was a main focus of outdoor recreation with its golf course, zoo, auditorium, play grounds, natatorium and baseball fields, and of course the famous "Rock Garden".
