Pineville Louisiana Airport
Pineville Municipal Airport, located at 200 Lake Buhlow Road, is operated by the City of Pineville. The airport features the only charted water runway in central Louisiana.
Both the paved runway 18/36 and the water runway extend 3,000 feet in length. Flightline Air Services provides air support services such as fuel, maintenance, hangar space, tie-down, flight training, aircraft rental, and pilot supplies.
The airport is also home to a local chapter of the Experimental Aircraft Association (EAA).
Established in 1980, EAA Chapter 614 is one of the most active chapters in Louisiana, with over a hundred members. The group has a pancake breakfast the first Saturday of each month, and holds two fly-ins each year, one in April and one in October. more at the website of EAA Chapter 614
